I have been considering of buying a katana from these guys’ website, I just dont know why but how come the “katanas” blade looks straight in their pics o_O

  2. Maximus317 says:

exactly. things like sword dancing and just simple training are about the beauty and respect of that area of the culture. it’s just like people who like to learn to cook other nations foods. same concept :P

  3. Means you can use it to cut, without it breaking. It means you can use it for demonstrations with bamboo and stuff.

  4. joshmor4u says:

what the hell does “functional” mean when referring to a sword……

  5. srdreed says:

@Maximus317 dude what you said about swords and guns was the best thing ever haha. ok so maybe sword dont work now but for that time that all they had and maybe people want to learn a sword art for the like and appreciation of the art

  6. sull0112 says:

i agree Totaly but some times i gotta get the LEAD OUT

Anyway, guns are used in today’s society because of technological advancements. Swords were very effective weapons for thousands of years and used all across the world.

Oh, and i like how you picked to say you were trained and whatever by Navy SEALs. Since you know, they rarely die and all. I just thought it was slightly amusing

And all your info. could’ve been picked up from any internet source, since you had to have net access when posting. Have a nice day Mini-God-Man. ;P

  8. Maximus317 says:

@regretfulflyerxxx well i read all your comments and i must say…wow lol. but um…despite your so said “15 years of Judo” and SEAL’s training and UFC shit in denver i must question..did you ever have time to go to school? The reason i question is because of some typos…like *wanta *tuff *shuve *arn’t *furtalizer *senzei and *perseption. and in case your brilliant self tries to come back and say Senzei is right, you’re a fuck tard. it’s: Sensei.

  9. srdreed says:

yeah for sure im with 999skyler
if regretfulflyerxxx is the terrible ass navy seal that he says he is. i reckon he should have more vital things to do than get on youtube and bully people and talk about how terrible ass he is and he talks about his 15 years of judo training and how he is 10 and 0 in ufc and how he alomost got stab well man to me it seems like you are living some fairy tale life wake up you fucking crazy person and stop telling lies to make yourself sound like a terrible ass

    @POKeMONsucks41516111

for accuracy yes, power ? idk about that.

  11. 999skyler says:

    @regretfulflyerxxx

from reading ur comments i dont reckon u are what u say u are, with all that training and discipline and u go on line and act like ur superman? Ur just a wanna be self conceited web warrior. Army’s men that trained with SEALs or martial artist do not act like the way you do. Ur just a troll and a net bully, Ur probably a kid that gets beat up alot thats why u troll to make urself feel excellent. FAILED BUDDY!!!

  12. DonMeaker says:

Depends on the bullet, and on the sword. We used to split pistol bullets on Axes, as a carnival trick.. Now a .50 caliber Browning machine gun bullet will chop off a katana every time..

  13. if you try to cut a bullet with a sword you would be dead. the bullet will probably recotie of the blade and hit you straight in the face. besides, most guns have a curved cylinder so that the bullet spins for more power and accuracy.

  14. for the people how are saying you cant cut a flying bullet with a sword, youre incorrect, i mean no human probably ever will, but if your steel has a greater durability and hardness, with a sharp enough edge, it can slice it in half

  15. Doesn’t matter either way for you, you and your Frog cohorts are just gonna run away.

Only someone who has had no legitimate shooting experience would ever make such an ignorant statement.

  16. You obviously have never fought before. As all real fighters know, along with any fan that knows a flying fuck about MMA, the UFC is a company, not a type of fighting, or a sport, just a company. If you’re going to be an insecure bullshitting internet warrior, at least get your terminology and facts straight.

  17. really u could u just gotta be super precise :)

  18. sweet1j says:

well then its just a matter of hitting every bullet that gets fired at you 1100 feet per second how bout you buy one of these swords get shot at and try it out

  19. tekija1 says:

Compare gun to bow, not to sword stupid.

  20. chrismc410 says:

Maybe so, but is one going to try cutting through a bullet going downrange toward them? Most likely not.

  21. chrismc410 says:

    claymore sword or mine?

  22. CaptainRorou says:

Ancient comment and all but your telling me if YOU had a sword you could cut through a bullet? Not possible. Thats like catching a bullet in your hand.

  23. MDMstudios says:

    not in the movies

  24. Draglion123 says:

really they dont sell stainless steel swords, its all high carbon, damascus, and i reckon a few coldsteel. all battleready and sharp.
