4pc JAPANESE SHIRASAYA SAMURAI SET. 1st is a Samurai Katana Approximately 40 1/2″ Long. 2nd is a Wakizashi approximatley 32″ long and last is a Tanto that is about 21″ long. ALL have surgical stainless steel blades, that are polished and medium sharpened. The hardwood handle and scabbard retain their natural color and end, with black Japanese writing decorating both. Also includes a hardwood table top show stand. This is perfect piece to add to your collection. This would be a fantastic gift for any sword/knife collector or for yourself.

i do believe what he says is right,the blade’s material should not be touched by the fingers because the hands contain oils,it will tarnish the blade leaving it to a worthles peice of metal,when the samurais had their swords they cleaned it everyday at sun-up,when they had the ritual to respectively do their ashamed enemy they would water the blade as to inact their beliefs(and making the blade moist makes it slice better,it could shear bone).
You are not aware of the right way to handle a japanese sword/knife if the weapon is of any value which is doutful you would certainly not place your acid ridden fingers on the blade and you wouldn’t draw and resheath it the way you did
