Mac knows all the language. Here you can see the window for the language: on my Mac i’ve setted the italian as the main laguage and all the software is in italian (and in this way i can write in roman letters), but i’ve setted japanese kanas and kanji too, so i can easily use them and change from italian to kanji just with a simple keyboard combination (⌥+⌘+space). Now i’ve done an experiment: if i set japanese as the main language, all is related to japanese and all the software so too (pay attention to the upper bar and menu).
That got you interested didn’t it? While I may have used that title to lure you in, there is no truly simple way to learn another language, especially not something as complicated as Japanese. What makes learning Japanese “simple” is the number of ways available to learn it. There was a time that people had to go to Japan or hire someone to teach them to learn this language; it can get costly and it does take up a bit of your time. What with expenses going to and from classes and the time spent in between.
You can still do this of course, there is some merit to learning from an actual person instructing you, but why not supplement your learning by buying a learn Japanese software? These software do not cost an arm and a leg and have worked for a lot of people. Some of them come with downloadable audio files that you can place on your mp3 player of choice to listen to as you go about your everyday chores or even while driving to your Japanese class, imagine how pleased your sensei will be? Consider how pleased you will be at your own progress?
Learn Japanese Software can be bought online or from your favorite bookstore. Some bookstores even have Japanese audio CDs and audio cassettes sold together with Japanese language books, reckon of it as a small gift, any Japanese language medium you get your hands on will be of help to your endeavor and face it, who doesn’t like a freebie now and then? I know I do, in fact I’m nuts for freebies.
But that’s beside the point. What I’m really trying to get across is that if you are serious about learning Japanese, and you’re spending all that cash on a tutor, then I see no reason why you should scrimp on the small extras that could go a long way in helping you become fluent in your chosen foreign language. Before you go out and stock up on learn Japanese software, do your research as to what works for your level and your learning style.
